HANSON—LOWE. A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Martin's Church of England, Moulamein, N.S.W., when Gloria Muriel, ex A.W.A.S., third daughter of Mr and Mrs Ronald Lowe, Moulamein, was married to Lindsay Cecil, ex A.I.F., P.O.W., son of Mr and Mrs T. Hanson, Smithton, Tasmania. Rev C. Kirkpatrick, Deniliquin, officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a magnolia satin frock. Her tulle veil, lent by her sister, Mrs Nancy Rohde, was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of water lilies, gladioli and gardenias. She was attended by her sister, Mrs Merle Duncan, as matron-of-honour. Miss Mary Hanson (the bridegroom's sister) and Miss Yvonne Lowe were bridesmaids. The matron-of-honour wore mauve hand-painted organdie with a matching hat held in place with a floral spray. The first bridesmaid wore nile green hand-painted organdie, and the second bridesmaid apricot hand-painted organdie. Both wore shoulder-length tulle veils, held in place with matching sprays, and carried bouquets of gladioli and tiger lilies. Little Judy Chandler, train-bearer, was dressed in nile green organdie, with headdress to match, and carried a pretty floral basket. The bridegroom was attended by Gnr. Norman Turnley (A.I.F. returned) with Pte Pat Hanson (A.I.F. returned) and Kevin Lowe as groomsmen. The church was tastefully decorated with tiger lilies and gladioli. Messrs Noel Howard and Nick Pentreath were the ushers. The reception was held at Tattersall's Hotel, where about 40 guests were entertained by the bride's parents. The two-tier wedding cake was decorated by the bride's brother-in-law, Mr Rob Rohde. The bride's mother wore a black frock with matching accessories and a shoulder spray of red roses. The bridegroom's mother wore navy blue and matching accessories and a shoulder spray of carnations and tiger lilies. When the happy couple left for their honeymoon, which was spent at Mt. Gambier, the bride wore a beige suit with black accessories and shoulder spray of orchids.
